How do I get my housing benefits ?
All GSA Resid accommodation is eligible for personalized housing assistance (APL).
They all have the criteria defined in order to benefit from it.
To obtain one of these aids, you can ask the nearest Family Allowance Fund for a form and return it completed, dated and signed.
You can also go to the CAF website: www.caf.fr and apply directly online.
The allowance is paid from the first day of the calendar month following the one in which the conditions for opening rights are met.
The APL is paid directly to the owner who then deducts it from the amount of rent requested from the tenant.
The amount of this aid may vary depending on:
• The person’s resources from the previous year,
• Their family situation,
• The nature of their accommodation,
• Their place of residence,
• The number of children or dependents,
• The amount of rent or reimbursements.
